Scott, I believe there is a kit available for your 6.2 in your new truck that can reprogram the computer system that will eliminate the computer from dropping cylinders for gas mileage. Basically making it run like a regular V8 with out dropping any cylinders.

You guys are using old equipment which is the way that we farmed in Northeast Iowa in the 70's. We used our equipment as long as was financially feasible. Some of the new farmers trade equipment every few years and complain about how they can not make any money! One UA-cam farmer just purchased a new tractor and planter to add to his fleet of a dozen new tractors. He spends money like water!
